Getting married at Mum's house never looked so good!

From the moment Micki and Angus reached out to me about photographing their wedding I sensed that this was going to be an incredible day. The understated way they referred to their wedding as a little home DIY affair, to their low key yet bubbly and fun personalities and carefree 'it will all come together' attitude I just knew we'd have a lot of fun.

Driving through the gates of Angus's mum's property in Merricks I felt as though I stepped back in time to when I worked in the UK at a stunning horse property on the Surrey/Sussex border. Then when I was greeted at the door by a very handsome, Mr Darcy esq, Angus and stepped into the most incredible stately beautiful home I was like this all feels a little like an historical romance novel.

These two, their friends and family had worked tirelessly to transform the back yard into a dream wedding venue. Everything from the marquee down to the signage and incredible hand drawn invitations had been designed and made by the stunning Micki.

The couple just really wanted everyone to enjoy the day and party the night away and once the formalities were over they did exactly that. The dance floor opened up, the band cranked up the tunes and with a quick change of outfit by Micki the party really got started!
