Genelle has now been a photographer for nearly 15 years. Her career has seen her working in all areas of photography, starting out in photojournalism before moving into the wedding and portrait photography field.

In 2009, deciding that it was time to go out on her own, Genelle made the decision to start Immerse Photography. The business has been amazingly successful, with nearly 100 wedding bookings in the first year. Genelle is a fully accredited member of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography and in her first year of competing won three Silver and one Bronze award at APPA. She has followed this up with an International Gold, two Silvers and a Bronze at the Loupe Awards, 2011. Genelle has shot several magazine covers for Melbourne Wedding and Bride Magazine and Showcase and has been invited all over Australia to speak at seminars helping other photographers achieve their goals.
